Our Students, Our Story

Campus Community, 

At the September Board of Trustees meeting last week, I had the honor to present the University of Kentucky’s preliminary enrollment report for Fall 2024. You can read my full report here, which provides a snapshot of the progress you, and so many across our campus, make possible.

The numbers are historic; they tell a powerful story nearly 160 years strong.

All are record numbers. And all reflect our unflinching and unwavering commitment to putting students first. Because we know that what our students do here — and how successful they are at UK — will determine, in large measure, whether we are successful in advancing Kentucky.

Our mission, now more than at any time in our history, is to open wide our doors to more students who will shape the future of this state.

These numbers reflect our commitment to that ideal. These numbers — and the stories, faces and places behind them — reflect that we are Kentucky’s university.
