Last week, we met with our Board of Trustees. You can read my full report to the board here.
As part of the meeting, we provided an update regarding our work to accelerate UK's purpose. Our five workgroups — comprised of dedicated faculty, staff and students — have worked diligently to kickstart this effort with vigor and intentionality. We plan to provide a second progress update to the board during the February meeting.
I am proud of all we have accomplished so far, and I am eager to see how we will do more and be more for Kentucky.
This is our responsibility. To support our students as they accomplish their lifelong dreams, to care for our Commonwealth with steadfast resolve, to graduate a strong and energetic workforce prepared to lead — which we will celebrate during Friday’s commencement ceremonies.
