The final Regulations were released on May 6, 2020, and the Working Group began meeting more regularly during the summer of 2020 in order to prepare a response. Provide Feedback
Administrative Regulation 6:2 is the University of Kentucky’s administrative regulation related to sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment as defined by Title IX. The version of Administrative Regulation 6:2 adopted on June 18, 2018 largely complied with the new Regulations from the Department of Education (DOE). The Interim Regulation includes changes to the policy that were necessary to ensure compliance with the DOE regulations. However, there are five areas where the Regulations require the university to choose a policy. In order to make a fully informed decision, we are asking our community to provide feedback on these important issues. For more comprehensive details on the following list, click here.
The university community is invited to provide feedback on all five areas, with particular emphasis on the fifth regarding standard of proof. This webform will be open until 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. Following this process, Professor Jennifer Bird-Pollan and representative members of the Joint Working Group will meet with the University Senate, the Staff Senate, and the Student Government Association for further discussion and input.
